Now that i've seen the whole campaign with Katie Holmes, i can finally say this was the lame-est Miu Miu ad ever !! goshhh what happened to Miuccia !!!! is it Tom Cruise scientologist people who threatened her ?!!! i guess so.... Honestly what the hell is Katie, the ugliest protagonist of Dawson, doing here !!? it's just boring !! she honestly look like a dog and her eyes are falling !!!! what about all the models out there !! dying in the cold russian land, waiting for a holly soul to save them !! im always against celebrities not being perfect enough !!! not being good examples !!! have u forgot the spots she had on her face and lips just two days after kissin Tom at his movie premiere ! ewwww is that fab ? is that fashion ? is that anything cute ? that's mainly why i've choose the high-heels picture to introduce this article ! ten times better !!! fierce enough for a Miu Miu lady !!!! chic forever !!!
ps : and i also wanted to sa fuck to this crisis and all those marketing rules !!! i dont care if we need to sell !! the customer is not stupid !!!! why do we need a famous face to be addicted to the product ? to at least, feel like we wanna buy ? even the insane Lindsay Lohan was better !! does it mean next time we'll have Michael Jackson for Miu Miu ? Amen

I understand what you're saying and i apreciate your ideas, but we live in a world of selling an image and celebrities, well they contribue a lot on this whole brand industry!
i totally am on your side of story, she doesn't fit the ad campaign for Miu Miu!

i dont even get why they chose katie holmes of all the other celebrities they could have chosen. her and her crackpot husband have become somewhat comical in the media lately.
her name gives these shots so much baggage...but really, they aren't THAT bad. I don't think this was the best fit for Miu Miu though. they should have used someone like emmy rossum or natalie portman maybe?
Those shoes with great details at the back are my passion for some seasons!

When i saw this campaign with Katie Holmes at first time, i was not surprised at this.

they're pretty pictures, but just that, pretty pictures. i liked the vanessa paradis ones.
Miu Miu in my opinion is the fun, younger, girlie version of Prada and casting someone like Katie Holmes for the campaign makes no sense at all.

i did a post ranting about celebs in fahsion campaigns. It pisses me off. They are not models, and I don't see how Katie Holmes especially is doing anything special to those garments. I didn't mind some celebrity ones (only some..)...but this is awful.

Howeverrrr, Mert and Marcus made her look a lot better. I think Miu Miu has consistently had celebrities for campaigns since 1995 as opposed to Prada which featured my favourite Sasha and other high-end models.

don't think I 'm insightful enough to judge the pictures. A parte de eso, you are so right, celebs may be the only ticket to sell to beaufs and cheap fashionistas. Tired of always seeing the same faces.
I agree with you, this season's Miu Miu campaign is less than amusing... Katie did NOTHING as the face of the collection... she looks horrible half the time... no impression made whatsoever... i'm ready for it to be over!
